Our Journey to New Markets – June 2017June 20, 2017

It’s already been a helluva year, friends.
As the second quarter wraps up, we take a look back at what we’ve had going on in the first half of our year and where our craft beer journey is headed for the remainder of 2017. This year has been flying, and we’re loving the ride. What have we been doing at this castle of craft beer creation, you ask?
Road trips to new markets: We have now released craft cans into all of our current territories where we have distribution. Full distribution map, HERE. Distribution in draft AND cans now includes ALL Florida counties other than Palm Beach, Broward, Miami-Dade and Monroe. Take a look on the shelves of your local retailer and you’ll probably see a Big Nose or Stump Knocker six-pack smiling back at you. This was an exciting move for us as we have been working toward putting cans into new craft beer markets far beyond our tasting room for some time. An increase in production at our Gainesville craft brewery last year allowed us to eye new markets for our cans. After a few months of a slow rollout, you can find sixers of our goods from the tip of the Panhandle to the Southernmost tip of Martin and Collier counties. If you are in one of these counties and haven’t been able to find Stump Knocker, Big Nose or Wild Night, let us know and we’ll help you out!
Hitting the popular spots: Most Publix, Total Wine, ABC, Winn-Dixies, independent bottle shops, and many other major retailers are now carrying our six-packs of Big Nose, Stump Knocker and Wild Night cans throughout our entire distribution footprint. Check the new craft beer lineup at your go-to independent, your local Publix, your favorite Total Wine or the ABC down the street and look for the good stuff!
NOTE: In the Tallahassee, Gainesville and Ocala markets, expect to see an addition of Midnight Oil and Cottonmouth to that list.
Oh, where to go from here: We hear that South Florida sure is nice this time of year. Have you heard? Asking for a friend…
The rest of 2017 has some big things in store for everyone at the brewery, and we’ve got room for all of you on the ride. Stay tuned for announcements of all of the fun we will continue to have this year. We have always been lucky to have an outpouring of love and support from all of you, who have helped us grow from a one-person startup into a craft brewery that employs nearly 30 Floridians. The journey has just begun. Cheers!
