Gainesville Craft Beer Week TappingsApril 13, 2015

Gainesville Craft Beer Week is a week of craft beer celebration leading up to and culminating with the Hogtown Craft Beer festival.
There will be events going on all around Gainesville, and we’re throwing down at The Wetlands too with some rare and new beers!
Tuesday (Ephemeral) 4/14: Swallowtail Sweet Potato Brown Ale
This beer was created in conjunction with our friends from Swallowtail Farm for their Spring Festival featuring world renowned farmer Joel Salatin. They debuted the beer at the festival, and we are lucky enough to be tapping a keg of it here at The Wetlands!
Wednesday 4/15: The return of Catherine’s Passion and the release of Eternal Blonde Ale
Catherine’s Passion has taken a bit of a hiatus from appearing at The Wetlands. But, we’ve brought her back for Gainesville Craft Beer Week! This is a draft only release, so come in and get your hands on a glass before she hits the road again.
Eternal Blonde Ale is a beer that we have been working on for about a year with our friends from the Florida Springs Institute. The guys at FSI fight for one of our favorite natural treasures in Florida… the springs. We brewed this beer to help them not only raise money, but to also raise awareness to the threats that the Springs face, and what we can do to help. We’ll be tapping this beer for the first time ever on Wednesday at The Wetlands, and every glass will go toward helping the FSI fight the good fight for the Springs.
Keep an eye out around town also for some really fun events including beer dinners, tap takeovers and others… see you all around The Wetlands and at the Hogtown Craft Beer Festival!
