Swamp Head Brewery is searching for a well-qualified, creative, and organized individual to fill a part-time position. As the Events Intern, the employee will work alongside the Tasting Room Manager and any other individuals that are involved in the planning and execution of scheduled events. This position offers flexible hours, and will occasionally require work on nights and weekends.
Job Duties/Tasks:
- Assist in the planning and organizing of all SHB in-house events
- Assist in operations on event days
- Assist with preparing needs for all events
- Assist in event calendar coordination
- Assist with scheduling music, bands, food trucks and vendors
- Assist in creating new SHB events
Experience/Requirements:
- Must be 21 or older
- Prior event planning experience is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Collaborative and fast to grasp new concepts
Pay Rate: $15/hr
SHB is committed to designing and creating the best beers possible while practicing both social
and economical responsibility. The beers need not always conform to traditional styles or
procedures so long as they help raise the benchmark for craft beer and SHB.
